Cub Scouting - Do Your Best!
Our Mission Statement
Pack 262 and its members have changed greatly since its formation in 1979, but its focus remains the same as in the beginning: to impart the values embodied by the Scout Oath and Law to the youth in our pack. Its leaders not only focus on teaching Scout and life skills, such as teamwork, personal fitness and resource management, but we also believe that leadership and community service should be the foundation of our organization; we serve the people and community that has supported and continues to support us.
About Pack 262
Pack 262 is chartered by Dalewood United Methodist Church in Nashville, Tennessee and is part of the Centennial District of the Middle Tennessee Council Boy Scouts of America. The pack currently meets every Monday night from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM (except during most holidays during the school year) and works on Scout skills and advancement during part of the meeting, while also trying to plan at least one camping trip or special event every month or two.
